It was very early in the morning when Kairi woke up. She yawned slightly, got ready for the day, and walked out of her small house. "I wonder what I should do today..." She said as she looked around. In one direction was the beach. She looked in the opposite direction: more beach. She sighed slightly. "There is never anything to do here besides go to the beach and relax! Nothing eventful has happened here in a long time..." She looked up at the sky and shook her head. "Maybe today will be different..." Kairi walked down towards the water and sat down, waiting for something interesting to happen to her.

I sat in a tree, just trying to relax after all the weird events circulating around the other worlds. I pulled my book out and began to read a bit, finally got through the 5th chapter, all done with it now. I put it back into my pocket and began to look up at the sky.

As Kairi sat there, she started to become very impatient. On the sand next to her was a stick, half buried and splintering in places. She picked it up and began to draw pictures in the sand. While doing so, she began to hum a song to herself. Kairi looked up from her drawing to look at the horizon, letting her mind guide her hand without the aid of sight. "Its been a long time since I have had an adventure like the ones we used to. I wonder if I even remember what it feels like..." Kairi sighed and glanced back down at her drawing. Her expression changed from one of pondering to one of confusion. Then, she gasped and quickly covered her mouth with her hand. She rapidly shook her head as she stared at the picture in the sand, completely horrified. Without a second of hesitation she reached down and covered the drawing with new sand, destroying the intricate lines and shapes that had made up the picture. Kairi then pulled her legs close to her, wrapped her arms around them, and rested her forehead on her knees, sobbing quietly.

as I closed my eyes I heard Kairi's sobbing, I lept from the tree and began to walk over to her. "Hey, What's wrong?" I asked her, but it came out in a kind of sneer. "I'm Sure Dante wouldn't want you crying," I said as I placed my hand on her back.

Kairi slowly lifted her head, recognizing Vergil's voice. She looked up at him and quickly blinked back the rest of the tears. "Hey Vergil... Nothing's wrong, I'm fine." She half-heartedly choked out a laugh. "What are you doing here? You hardly ever come out to this area anymore." She tried to smile but it quickly wavered into a slight frown.

"I don't have the right to relax?" I asked her with a smile, I thought that if I smiled then she would too. "and you can't tell me nothings wrong, your face says it all." I said calmly.

Kairi laughed a little. "Thanks Vergil." She smiled. "I'll be fine. I was just....reflecting on the past too much." She sighed softly. Kairi hated to lie about things, especially to Vergil, but some things were meant to be kept secret. "For now, at least..." She mumbled quietly to herself.

I looked at her. I felt she was hiding something. "alright..." I said with a smile. "have you seen my brother lately?" I asked her trying to change the subject.

"ah!"blaze said as he fell off a tree. he began to rub his head as he sat up. he looked around and saw Vergil and Kairi talking, he began to walk over to them and tripped over his own feet eating a bunch of sand. as he got up he started to mumble to himself and brushed sand off his sleeves. "are you a demon that killed my sister Tira?" he said going for his sword.

Rikku came running out of some trees screaming,"Awwwwww theres a fly chasing me!!!"

Kairi shook her head. "I haven't seen him. You know how he is though, always running off." She looked over and saw Blaze and Rikku. "Well, I wanted excitement. Looks like I got some." She gestured at the two newcomers and laughed.

I smiled after kairi laughed. I'm glad that Rikku and Blaze could cheer her up... but my attention turned to Blaze. though I had only met him. he seemed familier to me. I began to feel the demon blood in me boil and the idea to rip his heart out began to build. I quickly looked over at Kairi and her laughter calmed me. I began to realize that when I'm around her and Dante, I feel more human... but Blaze basicly negates the effect they have on me, he makes me feel like when I see Mundus.

Kairi looked up at Vergil and stopped laughing. "Are you okay Vergil?" She stood and rested her hand on his arm. "You look different... Troubled, maybe. Is everything alright?" Kairi looked at him worriedly.

I summon Demons so that I may train on the beach when I look down the beach and see Vergil, Rikku, Kairi, and a person that I have yet to meet. So knowing that if they wanted to talk to me they would, so I continue with my training exercise. Well I guess she finely decided to walk around again. I thought to myself. Then I summon Death Reaper and call forth about a hundred demons or so. "Well this will be a fun day." Then I start slashing in their direction as they attack me in waves. Then as I am cutting then down I didn't realize that one had ran past me and towards the group of people. "Vergil there is one coming at you." Then as I finished off the last one I used demon sprint to catch up to it but it was already almost there and I didn't think I could get to it so I hope that Vergil would get it.

"Everything is fine, just there's something strange about that guy..." I told her, I then saw a demon running at us and Dante shouting over at me. I dashed up to the demon and hit it with my sheath under the chin sending it up in the air I lept up and smacked it back down to the ground and placed my foot on the back of it's neck. "You had trouble catching the slow thing?" I asked Dante as I pulled Oni out of it's sheath and placed it square in it's back, I held my foot on it until I felt it disintigrate into the ground.
