Vergil's story corner

I'm bored so I'm going to write a story about what would have happend if Vergil hadn't of lost to Dante in the Temen-Ni-Gru. this is a "what if" story so no bad PMs talkin smack... feel free to post in here telling how you liked the story... or if you want to post one of your own stories, feel free... I'll be more then happy to criticize...


Vergil sat in his large courtyard reading a book. a sudden drop hit the page. he turned to the sky and saw a large grey cloud peering down at him. "Hmm. it's about to rain." he said as he closed his book and walked into his large foyer. "Alice." he called out as his maid came down the stairs. "Yes master?" She asked with a smile. "could you get me a nice cup of tea?" he asked as he began going up the stairs. "yes master, right away." She said as she left him to his walk up the stairs. as he sat down at his desk, he felt a little sense of uneasyness. he tried to shrug it off as he leaned back in the chair. Alice walked in with the tea he asked for. "thank you Alice." he said as he took a sip. "Will there be anything else master?" She asked him. "no this will do fine.' he replied. as he lifted the glass to his lips for another sip. a few demons bursted into the room. their growls upset Vergil as he sat the glass down calmly. "You dare attack me in my own house?" he said as he stood up. His gaze turned over to Alice who had already turned to her demon form and tore one of the demons apart. "That's my girl." He said as he quickly dashed behind one of them and put it in a tight headlock. "now who sent you?" he asked as he tightend his squeeze. "Answer." he said slightly twisting. "Master... Mundus. help me." The demon snarled. "Mundus eh?" Vergil said as he snapped the demons neck. "I'll have to research this Mundus." he said as he left the mansion and walked into town, towards Devil May Cry, his brother's shop.

Dante looked up as he held the phone to his head. "I'm sorry, we're not open yet." he said as he hung up. "So... why would my older brother come all the way into town to see me?" He asked as he slouched back in his chair. "Dante, I was just attacked by demons. Did you have such luck?" he asked him. "In this line of buisness? no way." Dante replied sarcasticly. Vergil shook his head. "one of the demons mentioned Mundus." Vergil exclaimed. "Who's Mundus?" Dante asked as he picked up a slice of Pizza. "Dante, surely you have read about Father and who he fought." Vergil said leaning on the desk. "Nope." Dante said with his mouth full. "Don't talk with your mouth full. it's a nasty habit." Vergil said as he turned to leave. "I may need your help. If Mundus comes to this realm we could be in danger." he said as he opened the door. Dante sat back in his chair agian and his phone rang. "Devil May Cry." He said with his mouth still full of pizza.

Vergil walked about town, going from library to library, learning what he can. he had done this for several years. going to different towns. on his search he met a woman and he lost sight of his research. he and that woman got married the following year and had twin sons, just like Sparda did. Vergil named his sons Kingsley and Matsuo. Vergil and his family returned to his mansion and lived happily for sixteen years. Vergil trained Kingsley and Matsuo the way his father had trained him. He wasn't surprised when Matsuo dashed with blinding speed behind Kingsley. "No fair. I want special powers." Kingsley shouted as he hit the ground causing a crater. Then tragidy struck as that night they were attacked by demons. Alice was caught and killed by them, as well as Vergil's wife. he tried hard to save them but ended up hurting. Matsuo and Kingsley got a hold of two of Vergil's swords and began to fight back. until Matsuo was grabbed by one and held up to three glowing red orbs in the sky. "Master... do you want this one?" It asked holding Matsuo up and Matsuo began to thrash about trying to get out of the demon's grip. "Yes, he'll do nicely." an Omnious voice said and Matsuo became still. Kingsley was grabbed by two demons and he couldn't move as well. Vergil watched in horror as lighting struck Matsuo and he began to glow. When the demon released him, Vergil couldn't recognize his son. The lightning had covered him from head to toe in black armor. he weilded a large broadsword. He watched as his son turned and killed his other son at the order of the voice then he began to walk toward him. Vergil couldn't move... couldn't feel any of his limbs. He saw Matsuo's glowing yellow eyes and he lifted the large broadsword, and for once Vergil actually felt fear. He heard the noise of the broadsword dropping and felt a sting in his neck, then nothing, just everyting fading to darkness...

Back again with another one...

I woke up startled. I had heard a voice calling my name but when I awoke I saw no one in my room, so I got up and looked around and there wasn't anyone in my house. I threw on some clothes and decided to go to school, it's been a whole year since my mother died and I never even knew my father. As I walked down the street the I saw the landlord. "Hey, Yuri, I got some complaints about some weird noises coming from your house the other night." He told me. "I don't know what your talking about. I haven't heard anything." I said to him. "The old woman next door said she heard something that sounded like a woman's scream." The landlord said. "I'll look around my house, if I find anything I'll tell you." I said before walking down the street some more. I hopped on the bus and it took me to my school. I walked in and sat at my desk. One of my friends came in and sat next to me. "Did you hear?" he asked me. "Hear what?" I asked him. "Cheryl dissappeared last night, they say she ran off with a guy." He wispered. "Really? I would run away too to get out of this hell hole." I wispered back. he chuckled. "Wendall, go to your seat." the teacher shouted over to us. Wendall got up and sat down a couple of seats away. I began to doodle on my paper. a few hours passed and the bell rang to go home. when I got home I found six police cars in front of my house. I walked up to the one with a cop in it. "Officer, what's going on?" I asked him. "We've got reports of suspicious activity, do you know who lives here?" he asked jabbing his thumb at my house. "yeah, I do, but I haven't done anything suspicious." I said calmly. "what did you do last night?" he asked me pulling out a pen and a notebook. "I ate dinner and went to bed." I replied. "did you leave your house at anytime?" he asked. "no sir." I said. another cop walked out the door and shook his head. "I hope you have a warrant." I said, the last thing that I wanted to do was clean up after police that rummaged through and broke my stuff. he handed me a sheet of paper. "here you are." he said. I looked it over. the cops then took off and I walked inside. I noticed that they searched my whole house and left it a mess. that night I decided to have some left over KFC and went to bed, I fealt a cold draft while I was asleep and woke up, I found myself standing over the body of my landlord. I paniced and looked around for the killer until I looked down at my hands and chest. blood was everywhere, and I was holding a bloody knife. it was then that I realised that I was the killer, I had killed my landlord, I had probably lured Cheryl away and killed her too, but I wasn't sure where, I suddenly had a voice speak to me, "I'm sure you know where miss Cheryl is, I mean, it'll just take you a little bit of time to SWALLOW it," it had said and it rang throughout my head. The KFC chicken, that had to be it, it tasted strange, and after the bowl was empty I found a ring at the bottom. I realised that I had developed a split personality, and the other personality had made me into a cannibal, I ran to the police station and confessed, I was put into a mental institution and drugged up, while there I saw myself standing over me. "Why'd you go and do that? after all the things I did to make sure you wouldn't get caught." the other me told me. "I... don't... want to be a killer." I said and I realised I need help. But I'm going to stay here until I am cured, or the second best thing for everyone, dead.

BING BONG DING DONG Story time....

as a small child I've always wondered what was creeping in the shadows. I decided to walk into a dark alley one night but was dumbstruck when I found a young woman, laying in the middle of the abandoned ally way. I noticed that she had a puncture wound on her stomach that looked like some kind of bite mark. I walked up and put my hand on the woman's shoulder. "Miss, are you okay?" I asked her. I put my ear to her bloody chest and heard her heart beating. The woman woke with a loud gasp, which scared the hell out of me. "The Wolves... came out of the walls..." She began to say. I picked her up and began walking out of the ally way. she continued her constant babble. I needed to take her to a hospital. I decided that it wouldn't be a good idea when I saw her blood in the light. Her blood was a kind of light orange that glowed. There was definitely something special about this woman, and I knew that if I took her to the hospital then those stupid doctors would play scientist and cut her open, just like they did to my brother five years ago. (If you think I should write more in this story then PM me...)

This is a story for the people that are wondering how Nero is Vergil's son...

Upon my mother's death. I decided to journey to find out about my father. I was only 17 and I had wound up in Fortuna. I had crept into The highest room in the Order of the Sword's castle, because I found out it was my father's bedroom. Sanctus had been going through his Pope initiations. He had attempted to attack me but he had stopped. I had told him I was following in my father's footsteps. Sanctus had asked me if I were a Demon or god. I heard His guards coming up the stairs and I didn't want to kill any humans. I ran for the window and turned to Sanctus. "I don’t mind that you pray to Sparda as a god, but do think
clearly of this. One day I will surpass that god, and when
that time comes, who will you worship? The one that was once god or
the son who exceeded him." I had said before escaping through the window. When I landed down below I had been found by a Priestess who I found myself attracted to. I had spent the night with her and escaped the next day. I never found out her name. I had wandered around, going from library to library to find out more about my father, That is when I met Arkham. We had Created Alice and awakened the Temen-Ni-Gru. It was then that Dante had fought his way through the Tower and Arkham attempted to take Father's power for himself. Dante and I had defeated him and we ended up fighting in the river to Demon Realm, where I perished. After that I had battle Mundus. Mundus had began torturing me after he had beaten me and had told me what had happened to the priestess that I had spent the night with. He had told me she had grown pregnant and birthed my son. She had Named him Nero. Once Sanctus had found out he branded her a harlot and banished her from the castle. She had wrapped Baby Nero in a black blanket and left him at the Orphanage where Kyrie's parents found him and brought him in.

Ecto walked into his brother's temple. Mundus appeared in the statue in front of him. "Hello brother, What a marvelous day we're having." Ecto said with a smile. "Enough Ecto, What is it that you want?" Mundus asked, clearly annoyed. Ecto chuckled. "Just like you always to the point. I want to leave the demon realm, I've found a beautiful woman that I wish to spend my life with." He said plainly looking down at his shoes. Mundus laughed. "I'm proud of you, go, you have my blessing." Mundus said. Ecto gave a slight bow before exiting the temple. Mundus chuckled. "Nelo Angelo!" He shouted and the knight appeared before him. "I want you to kill my brother." He said with a chuckle. Nelo Angelo nodded before disappearing in purple flames. Ecto got several miles away from his brother's temple. He knew he couldn't trust his brother so he went with his bride, who was pregnant and disappeared into the wilderness of the human realm. He remained hidden for fourteen years. He was out gathering wood and was attacked by Marionettes under the control of Nelo Angelo. Ecto dispatched the marionettes with ease. He returned home to find Nelo Angelo in his house and holding his wife by the throat. "Vergil, please stop this." He said with a touch of sorrow. Nelo Angelo dropped his wife and held his head. Ecto approached him and tried to reason with him. Nelo Angelo stuck his blade through Ecto's stomach. "Please, you must fight Mundus' control." He said as he coughed up blood. Nelo Angelo's eyes went dull. "Ecto? I-I'm sorry." He said before taking off his helmet. Ecto smiled. "Please my friend, please take my children and make sure Mundus never finds them." He said as he coughed up more blood. Vergil nodded and layed his friend down on the ground. Ecto died there and Vergil would forever remember him. "I will." He said before closing his eyes. Vergil grabbed the children and led them off. "Where are we going?" Young Ghost asked. "I'm taking you somewhere safe." Vergil replied. He took them to his mansion and realized that Alice was gone. Vergil shook his head. "Stay here, I'm going to seal your power so no one will find you. I'll return once the demon lord is dead." He said before running off. Ghost and phantom had no clue what to do. After a year of staying at Vergil's Manor, Phantom decided to go looking for his parents without Ghost knowing, and Ghost went to the demon realm. Where a demon saw him and killed him. It was then that ghost learned to take over the body of demons. it took him a thousand years (time flows differently in the demon realm.) to perfect it.

Holy shit man. You hit that one on the dot. Very specific and heart filled. GENIUS!

here's an excerpt from the story I'm currently working on. because I'm going to be focused on this, I'm not going to write in here for a while. Tell me if you like it:

Aneri, godess of the storm, stood in her home in Finley, Washington. Though Her Pantheon has it's own world she decided to live amongst the humans. Her pantheon has no followers, but that's the way they all liked it... except for Anto, the god of the moon and sexual appitite. He tries, and fails miserably, to get various women to worship him, which pisses his brother off. Aneri got her heart broken by her human boyfriend, she had a bad habit of giving her boyfriends some of her powers. She summoned Daygon, the god of Chaos and Insanity. and he appeared in her living room. "What can I do for you?" He asked with a smile that he always wore. Aneri sighed. "My boyfriend has betrayed me." She said with a depressed tone. Daygon Chuckled and pushed his brown hair from his brown eyes. "Very well.. I'll take care of him." He said with a smile before flashing out of her living room. Aneri began to cry. She knew she just signed her boyfriends death warrent, and she hated to have humans killed. Daygon was also the enforcer for the gods. Whenever one of them stepped out of line he'd kill them, and give their powers to a human that has proven themselves to him. A few hours later Daygon appeared before her and held his hand up. She felt a sudden jolt of energy pulse through her. "Thank you Daygon." She said with a false smile. Daygon began to laugh. "Try not to give your powers to humans next time. Wouldn't want me to kill them all off you know." He said with a insane grin. Aneri shook her head. "You make it sound like I'm a slut." She said plainly. Daygon chuckled. "Well, you did have me kill four people in a week." He said before holding his head. "Sorry, got to finish this conversation some other time. Jenara's calling me." He said with laughter before dissappearing again. Jenara was the goddess of Pain and Death, and Daygon's wife, Aneri sighed and sat down at her table. She created a storm outside so that she can enjoy the lightning that flashed outside her windows.

Daygon arrived in his home in Menoista, the God's realm, He walked into his living room and sat down and manifested a glass of vodka. Jenara walked over to him. "Why didn't you come when I called?: She asked angrily, as the goddess of pain and death, she was always short tempered, she had shoulder length red hair, and eyes so blue that it soothed Daygon on even the worst of days. Daygon chuckled at his wife. "Babe, I had to take care of Aneri's boyfriend trouble." He said with a smile. Jenara's eyes flashed red and Daygon felt another twinge of pain. He began to laugh as he held his gut. "You know I enjoy the pain." He said with a big grin. Jenara smiled and sat next to him. "That's why I do it love." She said as she ran her finger down his chest and back up in circles. Daygon Chuckled as He vanished from his wife's embrace and at the door to the bedroom. "Oh Daygon you are insatible." She said with a big smile. there was a sudden knock on the door. Daygon's smile faded from his face as he walked over to the door. "This had better be good." He said as he opened the door and found Anto standing in front of him. He sighed as he realized the cause of his sudden lust. "What do you want Anto?" He said cleary agitated. Aton grinned bigger then Daygon could ever. "I just wanted to come say hello to my brother." He said with a smile. Daygon watched as Anto's blue eyes danced between him and Jenara. "You better not be plotting anything." He said plainly. "What would I be plotted Daygon?" He asked as the smile shrank. Daygon invited him in with a sigh and Anto walked in and sat at the table. Anto learned a long time ago not to mess with Jenara. Last time he tried to do anything Daygon made him stand on top of a mountain and screaming at the top of his lungs singing Amazing Grace. "So... the real reason I came to visit..." He started and Daygon sat down "Here we go." He said plainly. Anto glared at him. "You know I'm stronger then you Daygon." He said angrily. "Physically yes, but remember, I create Chaos, and the more Chaos there is the stronger I become." Daygon said as a bowl of Olives appeared before him. Anto sighed because he knew the truth, Daygon would kill him in an instant. "Alright, I came hear because the Lenants are free again." He said plainly. Daygon stood so quickly that one would have guessed he warped himself to the same location. "What?" He said angrily. the Lenants were a race of Demons that were led by Daygon and Anto's brother, Alein, And they didn't give a crap about humans and the fate of the world. "Assemble the gods." Daygon said angrily. Anton chuckled. "I already did, we had the meeting yesterday." Daygon grabbed his brother by the neck. "You're really starting to piss me off Anto." He said behind clenched teeth. Jenara walked over and put her hand to his arm gently. "Calm down now love. Anto did what he thinks is best." She said in her serene tone. Daygon dropped Anto and walked over to the door. "I need to go for a walk," He said angrily and shutting the door behind him. "Good thing he's gone, so do you want to-" Anto started to say to Jenara, "Get out Anto." She interupted. "C'mon, don't be like that." He said with a smile, Jenara's glare peirced his soul and he felt like he was getting stabbed by a thousand blades. "Alright, I'm out." He said between clenched teeth.

Daygon stood by the sea and allowed the calmness of the waves hitting the shore relax him. I sat in the sand and watched the fish jump in the distance. "You know, Jenara is probably worried about you." A feminine voice said to him. Daygon sighed. "Like it matters, She knows how I am and I need to escape for a while." He said plainly. "So you come to see me? Daygon, You know Jenara has a short temper and if she sees me here with you who knows what she'll do." The voice said. Daygon chuckled. "Constera, Jenara knows were just friends, it's not like we're doing anyting." Daygon said with a smile. The water flowed closer to him and it began to take the shape of a blond woman in a light blue t-shirt and jeans. She readjusted her glasses and sighed. "You helped me through that whole affair with that leprachaun, now what's troubling you?" She asked calmly. Daygon looked at her and stood up. "The Lenants have escaped, and I can tell you who Alein's after first." Daygon said plainly. Constera chuckled. "You're afraid that Alein is going to hurt you?" She said plainly. Daygon laughed at that. "I'm not afraid of that, I'm afraid he might hurt you or Jenara, or one of the other goddesses." Dayon said with a hint of worry. "Which brings up the question, why did you spare him so long ago?" Constera asked plainly. Daygon looked down at the sand as the moment replayed in his mind. He stood over Alein with his sword, he remembered all the emotions that flowed through him, Anger, Madness, Hatred, and pity, it was pity that saved Alein's life that day. Daygon showed him mercy but locked Alein and his Lenants away so they can do no harm on the humans the gods protected.

This is another one of my "Alternate World" Stories like the first one I wrought. This one is going to be about Nero and Vergil if Vergil didn't take off on his own and brought Nero with him after the death of Nero's Mother.

The snow hit Vergil's face as tears streamed down his cheeks. He'd escaped from the Order and was climbing the mountains. The bundle of blankets in his arms moved a little as a cold wind went through a hole in the blankets. He held it tight to his chest. It was the only thing that had come from his union with Sarah. "Don't worry Nero, We'll get revenge on these humans." He said angrily as he continued off. He disappeared into the snow.

A year later Vergil met with Arkham, who offered him power and Vergil was about to Accept when he heard the crying of Nero outside. He rushed out the door and found Nero sitting on the ground holding his knee. "What happened Nero." He said as he picked him up and checked his knee and saw that he had scraped it. He then turned to Arkham and declined his offer, and that he would find another way to gain power. Arkham bowed before telling him where to find him when he was ready for it. Vergil nodded and he was left alone with his toddler. He placed Nero down in his crib and read him "Alice in Wonderland" And Nero laughed and sucked his thumb before falling asleep. "Good night Nero." Vergil said as he pulled the blanket up to his chin and kissed him on the forehead before leaving the room.

When Nero was six, Vergil heard him talking to someone in another room. He walked in and found a young woman in maid's clothes playing with Nero. "Umm, who are you?" He said as he was prepared to take the woman's head off if need be. The woman gave a large smile. "I am Alice, Master." She said. Vergil scratched his head. Nero Jumped up and down. "Alice, Daddy, I brought her from the book." He said as he held "Alice in Wonderland" Up. Vergil saw that he had also gotten a hold of one of his summoning books. 'I guess now it's time.' He thought. 'Nero, I have something to give you.' He said as he picked up the six year old. "What is it daddy?" He asked with a smile as he picked his nose. Vergil grunted as he pushed his son's hand down. "Don't do that, that's a nasty habit." He said as he pulled him from the room. He handed Nero a small katana. "What's this for Daddy?" He asked looking down at the sword that his father had given him. "That is so that you may obtain power, Let's go." Vergil said as he picked up a wooden sword and ran at his son.

Now sixteen, Nero rubbed his face where his father had struck him with the wooden katana. He jumped up and tightened his grip on his own sword and smiled. "Is that all you've got old man." He said as he ran at Vergil, matching both speed and strength with his father. "You've gotten a lot better Nero." Vergil said as he sent a summoning sword toward Nero's gut. Nero smiled as he sent one of his own to deflect Vergil's attack. "Hmm, perhaps it's time to take out these disgusting creatures and avenge your mother." Vergil said. Nero got a twinkle in his eye at that. "Finally we can begin to kill humans?" He asked with a grin.
Vergil nodded as he called Alice. "Yes master?" She asked. "Summon Arkham, I want to hear what he has to say." He said with a smile. Alice let out off a nod as she left the room.

After a few months, Vergil summoned Temen-Ni-Gru and as Father and son, they defeated Dante, killed all the humans, and ruled over the human realm. Vergil sat in a throne and looked over at his son, who was wearing a Dark Blue trenchcoat as Mundus appeared before him. "You have taken over the Human Realm... Now I'll take it from you." He said with his demonic tone. Vergil smiled at that. "If my father couldn't defeat you, then what makes you think that you'll be able to defeat me?" He said as he held his hand to his head. Mundus made Griffin appear in the room. "I'll take care of this father." Nero said stepping forward and pulled out a long katana with a barb on the tip. "It's been a while, I've grown a bit bored with these worthless wastes of flesh." He said as he activated his devil trigger form, which was blue, with silver antennae sticking from his head and blue wings with yellow membrane protruding from his back. He took flight and began to battle with the bird demon. Before one could blink, The room was covered in feathers and Nero returned to the side of his father, in human form again. "Try to attack me or my son, Demon Emperor, and we won't stop with the human realm." Vergil Warned Mundus.

that....was....awsome! you made a simple idea into a masterpeice.i read everything i can get ahold of and usualy i dont take much interest in them anymore, but that was great. you have a real talent for it.

Ok. I'm running out of ideas. hahaha.

A blond woman is thrown to the ground by a man she thought was a friend. He began to walk over to her and began to undo his belt. She had been groped by this man several times through out the time they were hanging out and she didn't see anything wrong with it until he started getting really bad. He reached down to grab her shirt and she closed her eyes, suddenly there was a loud gunshot which forced her to open her eyes, she saw the man that was trying to molest her more holding his leg and a gaping hole was bleeding onto his jeans. "Touch her again and we aim to the left a little more." She heard a man say as the man she saw looked up and saw six figures on a hill. The one in front began to climb down the hill and she saw that he had medium length blond hair under a hat and a scraggly goatee. "Wanna keep going?" He said with a twinkle in his brown eyes. The other man began to limp toward the leader. "I'm going to kill you bloke." He said angrily as he attempted to punch him, but pulled back a bloody stump instead. "I'll warn you pal, I've got a lot of skills and I'm not afraid to use 'em." The leader said as he cleaned the blade of a sword that she didn't even notice before. The rapist dropped and began to sob at the loss of his hand as the leader walked over to the blond girl. "Hey Miranda, told you I'd come." He said with a friendly smile. She looked at him and couldn't remember anything about him. The leader began to laugh. "I guess that's expected, we never officially met." He said as he removed his hat. "I'm Darrek..." He said as the others walked up behind him. One, a tall skinny one with spiky brown hair held a sniper rifle. "We are the brotherhood." Darrek said with a smile. "Zander, go find a place to stay." He told the guy with the spiky hair who nodded and ran off. "I'll introduce you to everyone later." He said with a smile.

After Miranda and the rest of the brotherhood went to bed. Darrek sat in the woods and he heard the familiar noise of a little girl giggling. "I know you're here Satan." He shouted. A little girl appeared before him with blazing red eyes. "You know, I've provided you with invincibility, and all you've given me was the soul of a rapist, you know the bargin..." She said with a huffy face.

um this one is interesting and could have more to it than we think.i think if we had alittle back story it would help

I'm not done with it yet Nero. I was merely pausing, this story will be my first continuous story... I'll post something new when I think of them.

Continuing on from my last story post...

Derreck nodded at the devil and smiled. "I know it perfectly. like I'd forget it, I send you souls, and you grant invincibility to the brotherhood." He said as he ran his hand over his chin. "But I want to up the wager..." He said after placing his hand at his side. The devil smiled at that. "What is it that you have in mind?" She asked with a twinkle in her eye.

The next morning Miranda looked about the room to see that the brotherhood had already gotten up. She got up and opened the door to find Zander standing there with a scowl on his face. "What do you need?" He asked as he pulled a cigarette from his pocket and lit it. "Where is everyone?" She asked. Zander actually smiled as he pulled the smoke from his mouth. "They went out to train, maybe they'll shoot a kangaroo." He said with a smile. Miranda looked shocked at that. "I'm kidding lady, Derreck wouldn't allow that." He said as he took another puff of his cigarette. There was a sudden noise a little to the left and Zander nearly dropped his smoke as he pulled up a handgun to find the only woman that was in the brotherhood. "Jesus Jess, you scared the hell out of me." He said as he holstered it. The woman smiled at that. "You were always Jumpy Zander, Derreck asked for your help, he wanted me to stand guard." She said with a smile. Zander nodded and ran off in the direction that Jess had come from. "Sorry, did Zander try anything?" She asked with a smile as she tied her long black hair back into a ponytail. Miranda shook her head.

(I need an Antagonist... I just realized. lol. perhaps the devil will start throwing curveballs in the wager... what is it that you guys want to see... give me ideas and I'll try to throw them in.)

i have one.you need a disaster like zombies,them getting attacked,one of them dying,etc.that would leave an opening for an antagonist to come in.he would have no memory but have special "gifts" and natural leadership skills.this would piss of whoever wanted to be leader causing a rivalry.also the new guy i discribed should actully be linked to the devil somhow

Have you ever wanted something and when it happens you are completely unprepared? That's how I feel as I write this. I thought I was ready when this happened, but now I can barely slow my beating heart. Zane thinks that I'm a fool for keeping this journal, but at this point it's the only thing keeping me sane. this whole thing started four days ago when Zane, Britney, Tawnya, and I went to the doctor's office because Zane had a rash spreading over his body rapidly due to something sting him in his truck. When we got there, there was a man with a bite wound on his arm, when the doctor went to examine him, the man bit him. I knew things were getting out of hand when I realized the man showed no life in his eyes. Zane knew too and quickly gave the man a hard blow to the head with a nearby crutch. We immediately left afterwards. It took a while to calm the girls and we made our way to Walmart. It was then that I began to panic, we found several people like the man in the doctor's office, it is there that I write this, I have to treat Zane now, so I guess I'll write more tomorrow.

March 13, 2010 Entry 2

I can't sleep, so I offered to be on watch first. Zane has kept scratching his rash and Tawnya made a joke. She said that if he were bit he'd be a really itchy dead guy. We have enough food and supplies to last months, but I don't think we'll be here that long, I just want to see my family again. I thought I saw my sister yesterday, walking around with those... things. I am fairly certain they aren't alive. Zane has come up with a fun game where we go up on the roof with hunting rifles and try to get the most kills with twenty bullets. Britney got twenty one the last time we played. She gets really competitive after a while. I can hear those things out there, moaning and groaning. I hope this won't be a daily ritual, because I'm not sure how much more I can handle. I think I may just go get some sleeping pills from the pharmacy and wake up Zane to relieve me. A tired person won't survive this shit, so I'm gonna make sure I get some sleep.

We saved a couple of survivors. One of them, a thirty-six year old man named Issac, was bitten. His twelve year old daughter was unharmed, I just can't help but feel sorry for her. to ease her pain I kept the others from killing Issac until after he changed. I wish I hadn't, He screamed in pain for hours before he finally died. Oh god, I thought the transformation would be painless, but I was completely wrong. and that poor girl was forced to watch her father writhe in pain until Zane put a bullet in his head when he got up after death. Never again will I hesitate to kill someone that has been infected, just to keep them from ending up like Issac. Britney and Tawnya have been taking care of the girl, I don't think she'll ever get over it. She doesn't even speak nor eat. It is very saddening. If I were religious I would pray for her.

We were forced to leave the walmart. those things bust in and nearly got us. I'm surprised non of us were bitten. I write this wile driving toward our next hideout. Each minute that passes seems like it's closer to us getting our guts ripped out and eaten. Zane suggested that we start killing those things, but Tawnya had given the point that we didn't know how many there were. the young girl we saved will still not talk. but she has started to eat. She seems really fond of Britney. I'm not sure where we're going, but I am starting to get hungry, and I hope the next place we go to is full of food.

March 17, 2010 Entry 2

The second place we were heading to was a costco. When we got inside we found four of our friends, Clementine, Jo, Alan, and Aiden were sitting on the top of one of the sturdy shelves with guns trained on us. They eased when they realized it was us. and we weren't changed into those things. Alan patted me on the back and was happy that I wasn't dead. Aiden on the other hand seemed a little intimidated by our arrival. Zane and I are leaders as well as he is, so in his mind we're a threat to his control of this little "unit." He started by cussing us out and ranting how were weren't there to save more of our friends. Clementine placed a hand on his shoulder, then turned her beautiful blue eyes toward us. She had told us how those things out there converted her fianc'e and she was forced to kill him. my heart sank and I felt sorry for her. Jo was sitting in the back and playing her PSP and didn't really care what was going on with us. Jo never really cared for drama, which is why I got along with her so well. I'm going to have to take inventory of all the food and figure out how long we can hold this place.

Here is a story that I believe to be one of my previous lives.

I do not remember my name, nor where I am from. I don't remember the names of anyone from my life, what I do remember is that I was born in a kingdom and up until it had reached the date of my birth on the twenty second year, I was a squire. When I had become a knight I had felt so full of joy, for my father was a knight, and his father before him, so I was so proud to follow in their footsteps, and I was hoping my own children would follow in mine. I had been assigned to guard a neighboring castle with my lord's daughter as it's ruler. When I had set eyes on my lady my heart began to race and I had believed that I had found the most beautiful woman in all of our kingdom. After a few years of guard duty, my lady had grown to trust me and I was reassigned as her captain of the knights. What my lady had requested I had done without fail for if I had it would be worst then death to me. I had spent several long years by her side, and each passing day she had become more and more beautiful to me. I wanted to tell her how I felt about her, and everyday I had yearned to feel her touch, but alas, I could not bring myself to do it out of fear that I would be banished from the land and far from my beloved lady. I had woken each day in hopes to see her beautiful face and the wonderful smile she had. on the tenth year of my service to her, our castle was raided. I had hidden my lady in a secret room of our castle that I had found by accident. I had tears in my eyes because I knew that this was to be the last time I was to lay eyes on her angelic features. "I love you." was my last words to her before I had left the secret chamber and returned to the throne chamber where I had found the intruder's ransacking the castle. I drew my blade and fought them, but I was out numbered and I had felt a dagger plunged into my side and a hot liquid wetting my tunic. I began to feel light headed and I looked at my hand and saw that the liquid was blood and the dagger remained in place. I had died that day, protecting my love.
