I walked into the temple and looked up at the statue of my father. "Can you hear me father? I have surpassed you, and I have become greater then the 'god' that these people worship." I said with a smile. I noticed a priest, who looked at me with a startled look. "Are you a demon or a god?" He asked me. I smiled. "I'm the son of your savior, and I have surpassed him, now who will you worship?" I asked plainly.

I walked up to Vergil. "I will follow you but never warship you. You are a friend and a teacher. I have far more respect than to just warship you. I will be here for you whenever needed." I said as I bowed my head in respect.

I laughed. "Well, I'm glad to have you by my side Ghost." I said with a smile.

"I'm almost to your level. I just need to master a few more things and then I think you and me can go at it blow for blow." I said with a chuckle.

I chuckled. "I'll have to destroy you by that time." I said plainly.

"It would be one hell of a fight between you and me. I won't hold back when that time comes." I said as I seriously looked into Vegil's eyes. "And what will happen if Nero or Dante managed to get to your level? Will you try to kill them too?" I asked coldly.

I chuckled. "Maybe Dante, but my son I'd expect to surpass me, as I surpassed my father." I said plainly. "But I might not destroy you." I said plainly.

"I just don't understand why you would consider destroying me. Me and your son, Nero, keep each other alive. We are like brothers without the blood. I may not be as close to him as Cepeda is but I'll still give my life for Nero like I would for you." I said to Vergil.

I chuckled. "It was a dark joke Ghost, I didn't think you'd take it seriously." I said before heading for the door. "you coming?" I asked as I exited the temple.

"I'll be there in a sec." I said as I looked over to Sparta's statue. I pulled out a box and placed it at Sparta's feet and ran to catch up with Vergil.

I looked back at the running ghost. "So, what did you need to do?" I asked him calmly.

"Left a little box at your dads statue." I said as I slowed down and walked next to Vergil.

"It contains a coin that once belonged to him. He gave it to me a long while ago when I saw him in the demon realm." I explained to Vergil.

I glanced at Ghost. "When did you meet him?" I asked plainly.

"Before I met you. I had no clue who he was until I met you." I said as I continued to walk next to Vergil.

I held my hand to my chin. "Very curious." I said quietly.

I looked around me to make sure nobody was around. I then looked to Vergil. "Make a temporary mental bond with me. I have a secret that I need to tell you." I whispered to Vergil as I continued to look at my surroundings.

Cepeda jumps from the sky as he lands with X-Blade on his back he looks at his father.

Father, you may be better than god, but one day I shall supprass you just as you supparased your father. You guys always put me on the sidelines, well not anymore, from now on you will all recongize me as an equal.

Cepeda glares at Vergil.

i open a portal and step out. i walk over to cepeda and put my hand on his shoulder."no you are not equel to our father cepeda, hell you you arent even equel to me and ghost" i said with a laugh
