History: The Beginning - Spoiler:
The Solitario family is a well-known assassin family. Though only well known by political officials and corporations, people still have an eery feeling when meeting them. The head of the family, a couple by the name Drakar and Constantine, currently had 4 children before Shinra was born. 2 sons and 2 daughters. There was Leonardo and Kryptis, then there was Caryl and Melody. These children were all-rounded, almost as skilled as their parents. They had a family bond other than their assassin side. The year Shinra was born, this changed. The bonds had deepened for 9 months, then they immediatly dispersed. The only bond remaining was between Shinra, Constantine, and Drakar. They promised eachother to raise Shinra normal until he was of age to begin training. The only problem he had was making friends. How can one make friends with no words? This caused him to be bullied by bigger, older kids. At age 7, Shinra had been sent to a training academy. This academy would teach all the necessary school information, but for the majority of the day there was Muay Thai and Capoeira training. This created a martial art that was both precise and stable. Also it provided a martial art that was fluent and strong. This art was to be implemented into Shinra's mind.
After 2 years of training, 2 long years, Shinra returned home. He had immediatly been put through the Awakening Trials. These trials consisted of 5 long tests. Within 3 days, Shinra had introduced his skills, fought his first fight-to-the-death match, balanced on small places to where his falls would be lethal, survive the unbearable strikes of a whip to the back. But worst of all, he had his lips sewed to show his muteness. This was a tiring 3 days for someone so young. Being unable to move for a week, his parents prepared the training exercises. Drakar prepared the training room whilst Constantine tended to Shinra's wounds. After regaining his ability to move, he still had to heal his bones for they were slightly damaged. A whole month passed before he had been capable of immense training. Once he began training, he feared it would be his end. Days and days of whipping. Every mistake got him whipped, but this made him stoic. This stoic stasis had implemented a emotionless expression on Shinra's face. This emotionless expression was almost 100% accurate when it came to his mental stasis. For one year, the endurance of Shinra was trained immensely. Though the only problem was he was so used to taking orders that he had only a tiny bit of will left.
At age 10, the Trials of Apprenticemanship had begun. For 1 month, Shinra was to try to escape an ancient tomb concealing his dead family members. There were 30 family members in the tomb. The ghosts haunted the tombs for centuries. His parents and siblings had this experience as well. The first week consisted of being sent deep into the tomb. If the time limit was exceeded, he would be considered a failure or he would be considered KIA. The second week was consisted of trying to pass through the door leading out of his most important ancestor's room. After leaving the room, solving a complicated puzzle, he proceeded down the main hallway. Running into a book, he found out he must retrieve 4 keys for the exit to open. He must also pull 4 levers to uncover the locks so the keys may be used. Whilst journeying through the tombs to find the keys, Shinra finds out that spirits of his family will appear and test his abilities. His stealth, endurance, strength, and his reflex. Though he had an adequate amount, he still had a rough time getting out alive. 3 and a half weeks passed and Shinra had 3 keys, pulled all 4 levers, and was starving. A hidden compartment in the wall in the main hallway revealed a water pouch. Shinra was near death and had rejuvenated by drinking this water. A note said it was enchanted by mages from centuries ago. The last key was somehow at the end of the hallway. Thinking this was because he passed the spirits' trials, he inserted each key.
The door opened but did not reveal an exit. Instead, it revealed a door of darkness. After this, Shinra blacked out.
The Assassin - Spoiler:
Shinra awoke in a bed, only to be greeted by his mother tending to his wounds. Noticing his father standing out in the hall pacing, he thought about what happened when the door opened. He was a full-fledghed...apprentice. As an apprentice assassin, everything he is told must be followed through. He is not allowed to change a detail in the plan. This was the deal for 2 years. Now, a glum feeling befell the family. Though this did not stop Shinra's progession. There was 20 missions for that year, every 4 starting after 10 came a test. Missions 10, 15, and 20 were tests. These were simple tests. They consisted of killing important political officials. Nothing big, but this was only the first year. Shinra had noticed that his assassinations were sloppy, training himself to be more precise. Whilst an apprentice, he was given a Wakizashi with a lotus pod-shaped guard. The blade had apprentice engraved in Japanese. The second year consisted of 10 important missions. Each was considered a test of stealth and precision. The wakizashi that Shinra used was replaced with a chain sword. He had been told not to worry about the mess with a weapon like such.
Shinra had killed 10 political officials. The reason for so many is becuase Emblus, a city in a parallel but more advanced world to Earth. Upon the 10 mission, the most important target for the past 2 years was revealed. The emporer, Kudo Takayashi, was to be cleanly killed. Any kind of weapon was available for this mission, but only 1 at a time. Shinra chose the Tanto blade, short and easy to unsheath. The emporer was guarded by atleast 10 guards inside his house, and 15 outside his house. The house was short, only a 2-story, so Shinra used a zipline to infiltrate through the chimney. There were 3 guards in the way. This was a little to no casualties mission. So Shinra covered one guards mouth, choking him silently and moving his body into the shadows under the stairs. He proceeded to climb up the wall and jump onto a sturdy ledge that is attached to the stairs. He vaulted over the railing and proceeded to suffocate another guard, hiding his body. Shinra picked the lock messily and almost attracted the 3rd guard's attention. He entered a room which had two cameras. He timed his movements and snuck over to Kudo. The bed had curtains surrounding him so Shinra easily pierced his heart. Backtracking to where he was, he climbed the chimney. Jumping into some bushes, he proceeded to venture home.
When Shinra arrived at his household, he was immediatly sent to bed. For 2 days he slept. But what was going on in his head during these days lead to something even greater.
Dark Bonds - Spoiler:
After Shinra fell asleep, he was suddenly dreaming he was in a spotlight, chained from his arms to a blank, smooth floor. Unnatural darkness surrounding him. A dark figure walked out from the shadows and spoke silently. Infact, his words had no sound. But, Shinra understood them. What he understood was something he did not recollect. He was told about his future, how great power was going to be given. Sadly, the dream seemed so short. The only recollected words were "Don't trust". This implemented paranoia. This paranoid stasis made Shinra fear his family now. He watched his back every moment. He checked for traps when his family was not looking. For a moment, a new event had come up to ease him. The Mockingbird Trials. Three tests consisting of deadly tasks and complex puzzles. The tasks...were unspeakable and unknown to Shinra. He was not worried, until he found out that he had 2 tasks and a 1 puzzle for the first test. The tasks were to...Eliminate his brother Kryptis. Though not in a direct assassination, he would make it an accident, or so it would seem. The next task was to find the puzzle board. He would then solve it. Following through with this task, Shinra had set up a trap. Whilst Kryptis was training with Leonardo, he would slip on a slightly, note slightly, waxed floor. Due to using sox, he would slip and his sword would "accidently" pass through his own head. Though a clear marble was tossed to push the sword into place.
Shinra was then sent to a abandoned apartment to search for the puzzle. Little did he know it was actually a mobster den. Mobsters had surrounded Shinra. Due to lack of training, the mobsters fell easy. Upon finding a luminated puzzle board, Shinra had passed out. This slipped him into another confrontation with the figure in his dream. He quickly warned Shinra to wake up and destroy the board before he vanished. Shinra awoke, smashing the board and finding a note. The note said to come to the western park. Doing so, Shinra had found 3 assassins dressed up, ready for combat. It was his siblings. They knew he smashed the puzzle, because they spied on him. Each combated him one at a time. These were hand-to-hand. They let their emotions get in the way, thus causing Shinra to win. Each was beaten nearly to a pulp. They laid on the ground, severly injure. Shinra was told to finish them, but from a voice inside his head. He snapped each of their necks. Returning home, he was ready to take the final test. He must fight and finish his main trainer, which is his father. He was given a choice of weapons, and he chose a pair of Daisho. He had secretly trained with Daisho since he was 10.
Such agility was expressed from his father, Drakar. Shinra had used his momentum combined with Drakar's agility to stab his Wakizashi right through his father. This did not immediatly kill him, but Drakar could not react. At his dieing words, he told Shinra about a dark future. Shinra did not listen, for he did not trust him. He finished his father, and continued to his house. There stood in the doorway, his mother ready to take revenge. She should've left him alone. But there was an interferance. A big, black hand grabbed and dragged Constantine into the shadows. The only thing remaining of her was blood. But more like a blood bath. Falling to his knees, Shinra had looked up to see a door of darkness. The figure stood beside it, beckoning him to approach it. Shinra spoke, but no sounds came out. His answer was clear, and the door opened. The darkness devoured him, sending him into another universe. For a few years, Shinra was in a coma. Awakening was soon seen.
