Return of Phantom

I sat at a table in the town square. I took out my flask and began to drink. I started to think about all the people I've met. A few years ago I would have killed them without hesitation, but now... I've changed. I began to wonder what happened to everyone that hasn't appeared lately. I began to drink more.

I walk into the town square both my rifles on my back, empty sadly, all of a sudden i notice a familiar face drinking from a flask. I walk uptp this familiar face and notice that its Vergil. I pull up one of my rifles and point it at the back of his head and say, "freeze nucka dont move or your heads will explode."

I chuckled as I calmly put my flask on the table and did a quick dash behind Phantom and held a knife up to his throat. "I wonder if you could pull the trigger faster then I could slit your throat." I said with a smile. I pulled the knife away and sat back down and grabbed my flask. "It's nice to see you again Phantom. Your brother has been quite troubled." I said plainly before drinking.

"Ahhh crap" I say as I begin to lower my rifle. "Whats been goin on since I left.?"

I put my flask down and looked over at him. "Ghost proposed to Namine, Got her knocked up, Mundus has been appearing alot lately and Ghost has been hell bent on revenge against him." I said looking at my flask. I closed it and put it my pocket. "Any other questions you'd like me to answer?" I asked plainly.

"ahhh sheit." I say with the only thought running through my head is im goinna be an uncle. "Ya where can i get .50 cal ammunition rounds.? and where is the moron now.?"

I smiled as I pulled a box of ammo from a sinrift and placed it on the table. "I've not a clue, probably at home with Namine and Chey, and probably Lucas, Jin, Cepeda, and Nero." I said plainly. "They've been really careful now that Cecil's joined Mundus' ranks." I sad calmly.

I reach over to the box of ammo. "thanks man. i aint been able to get to a shop where I can buy this." I sigh. "So the rugrat has already been born.?"

I shook my head. "Ghost had adopted a little girl a while back." I said plainly. "I'm sure Ecto would be proud of him." I said with a smile. I secretly summoned my peons and they encircled Phantom. I calmly pulled my flask out and drank again.

I look at him and say, "Has he gone daft.? kid on the way and hes adopting.?! why I oughta...." I look around then back to Vergil. "what the hell are these things.?"

I looked around at my peons. "What are what?" I asked as I snapped my fingers as I took a drink, the peons attempted to attack Phantom.

"What the hell.?!" I say as I pull out my sword attempting to decapitate one. I look at vergil. "what the hell man call um off.!!"

I smiled as and snapped my fingers and the Peons disappeared into sin rifts. "Just making sure your still on edge after your absence." I said as I pulled out a leather bound book and placed it on the table. "Here is a compilation of things that have appeared lately. Heartless, Nobodies, The Rouge, The Demons, Chriopterran, and the Angels of Judgement." I said plainly. "My demons are in there as well." I said with a chuckle.

I reach for the book and say. " What do you mean.? Complications.? and why would i be on edge.? ive had to take care of a hatchling."

I shook my head. "Mundus has been striking us while we're unprepared lately, he could strike at any moment, and because Cecil is with him, he knows where we are and what we do." I explained in a calm tone. "Your brother is getting cocky and has been rushing headfirst into things without thinking." I said with a sigh.

"Ohhhh" I say still confused. I chuckle. "Sounds like me when I was in the human world at war, The general was always suprised to see me alive. "

I chuckled. "Humans are always surprised by us when we don't die." I said with a smile. "But Ghost isn't attacking humans, he's going after the Prince of darkness, and strongly underestimating his power." I said in a serious tone. "I just don't want him to become the next Nelo Angelo." I said plainly.

I look at Vergil and say, "That deffantly sounds like my brother." Tryin to make light of the situation. "It also sounds like if he seriously want to go thew with this, hes gonna need some backup and heavy artilary."

I nodded. "I would help, but it would start a major war, one that will cause several humans to die. So I must convince others to do things for me." I said plainly. "I cannot kill Mundus, but I can seal him away for eternity." I said plainly. "I'll just need you and my sons to help you weaken Mundus." I said with a smile. "He has sent his generals after me on several occasions, so I know he's afraid." I said before laughing.

I look at him. "My rifles and blades are at service."

I chuckled. "I'd imagine that they would be, if your anything like Ecto." I said with a chuckle and I handed him a key to my front door. "Feel free to drop by." I said as I stood up. "A room is always open to you." I said then opened a sin rift. "Would you like to pick one?" I said with a smile.

I take the key and say "I sure would thanks fer the offer"

I held my hand toward the sinrift. "Very well, let's go and check it out." I said with a smile.

I walk through the sinrift. As I step though I say, "its been awhile since I been here."

I stepped through and saw Alice chasing Ikki with a large pan. I shook my head. "A bit too long." I said plainly. When Ikki came running back through the foyer I noticed he had a red bra, and I knew what was going to happen then. I grabbed Phantom's shoulder and tugged him down and a fireball flew over us. Kiran was right behind Alice, engulfed in flames. "Meet Ikki." I said with a smile as the small imp got hit by the frying pan Alice threw.
