The beach

I walk over and stand next to Vergil. I then elbow him slightly and say under my breath, "Fill me in.. They're.. Lovers, right?" I then exhale and stare over at Kairi and Dante. "What is love? I've heard so much about it... But I can't feel it. Is love really an emotion, or is it a word humans throw around when they mean like? I haven't been able to figure it out.. And, being a nobody, I probably never will. Is it true what they say?" I smile slightly and stare at Vergil with excited eyes, "That, when you have love in your life, you will never loose it? It sounds like a wonderful emotion. I'd like to feel it one day..." I stare back over at them. "They've very lucky to have each other.." The child in me shines through the surface of my face.

Cepeda takes the hit as he doesn't move as he frowns.

I look at Kairi's face and she looks as though she doesn't even seem that happy. At that instant I feel the scars with my shirt over them and have flashbacks of how I had gotten them and how hard I looked for her. I slow my walk towards them then just stop, a short distance away. "How.......have you .........been Kairi.......bear?"

"Why're you frowning?" I say to Pedz.

"No reason" Cepeda sits as he refuses to tell anyone about his secret.

"Tey-Tey!!!" She runs the short distance towards him, a big lopsided smile on her face. She jumps at him and he catches her just before she is about to start falling back towards the ground. She hugs him tightly. "Oh Tey-Tey, I missed you so much." She rests her head on him. "I'm sorry I was gone for so long."

I sigh slightly and stare at the ground.

I let out a grunt before leaving without a word.

I hear Namine's words and a scowl comes to my face. 'Why do you intrude in my thoughts?' I asked in thought.

"Because I can and I know it makes you mad." I say simply. "And it wouldn't kill you to smile, would it?" I ask him.

'I have no reason to smile.' I thought. 'if you were banished to a hellish realm by your little brother, who, when you return, you find that he's had a family, lost it, and gains a lover. you just feel like the worst brother in the world after a while, I love my little brother, but I feel that I had ditched him.' I said accidently going into a rant in my brain.

Silence.. I think for a while while he continues going on and on. "Okay.."

Cepeda then wa;lks to Kairi as he then asks her a question "Excuse me Ms.Kairi can i talk to you." Cepeda says this eith a serious look

"Umm sure..." She carefully untangled herself from Dante and turned towards Cepeda. She smoothed down her dress before continuing. "Whats up? Is everything okay?" She tried to smile at him, but it wavered slightly. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed that Vergil had started to walk away. She decided not to worry about it until she was done talking to Cepeda.

I sigh slightly and see that Kairi and Cepeda are talking. "Hmm." I say curiously, then try and read Cepeda's mind.

"When you disappeared do you remeber anybody wearing Red Masks or anything."

Kairi shook her head slightly. "I dont remember anything like that... But then again, I dont remember much of anything from when that happened..." She looked around then back up at him. "You dont think someone is after me. Right?"

I walked back and heard Kairi's question and began to laugh. "I feel sorry for any fool that tries to take you." I said with a smile. "you're loud, and if your clutziness doesn't kill them then Dante and I will." I said.

"Hmph!" She turned towards Vergil and glared at him. "There is no such thing as someone being clutzy enough to kill, especially not me!" She laughed a little then smiled at him. "Still.... Its a valid thing to be concerned about..."

"So now I know where my clutziness came from." I smile toward Kairi.

Kairi turned towards Namine and nodded. "You would not believe half of the stuff that I have fallen, crashed, or stumbled into."

Cepeda then takes out his keyblade as he walks away from the area going south.

"Oh? Well I've accidentally opened portals in the air and fallen through them, most of the time landing on Vergil." I laugh.

Kairi smiled at Namine and started laughing. "Poor Vergil... He probably deserves it though." As she glanced over, she saw Cepeda walking off, keyblade in hand. "What happened? Did I make him upset or something?"
