| Raven sighed in boredom, after all, it was frustrating not remembering very much about himself. It was even more so not remembering the things he liked to do for fun or amusement, though he had a feeling that it involved combat. Still, he walked through a village with his glaive in hand, using it as a walking stick. |

| I stood on a rooftop of one of the houses. "So, another person has made an appearence." I said looking down at Raven. I lept of the building and landed in front of him. "Hey, what's your name?" I asked him plainly. | |

| (Wow... Been a while since we last RPed.... Say "hello," Zeke. *Zeke nods his head, acknowledging Vergil once more* I couldn't remember my password. ^_^' Imagine, if I hadn't left for that time I could have had one of the most powerful characters on the site, considering how much I like posting. Though you, Vergil, posted everywhere you could on your first day after your character was approved, so you would still probably be stronger than I would have... Ah well, what's done is done and all that.)
"I am Raven." He replied. every instinct in his body was telling him to attack, but instead he remained calm and bored on the outside, which the stranger would see, but inside his mind, he could almost feel his arms moving for an attack. After all, surprising any trained warrior as the stranger had done is not a very smart idea. "Why did you jump down like that? If I had been any more surpised, you may not have been able to explain yourself and, odds are, one of us would be dead in minutes." He did not speak in a threatening tone, since he knew that he'd practically thrown his life away five years before, though to what cause he did not know. He knew that if a fight broke out he had as much chance of killing the stranger in front of him than a small boy might have against a full-grown man. |

| OOC: it has been a while... lol
IC: I let out a chuckle, "you're right, one of us would be dead in minutes." I said with a smile, another Human thinking he's full of himself. I let the smile drain from my face. "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Vergil, Pleasure to meet you." I said calmly. | |

| Raven nodded. "I'm afraid that I must apologize if I came off as hostile or cocky, for I am neither. While I am confident in my fighting ability, I tend to think more rationally than most beginning fighters, most of whom have their heads in the clouds until someone put them in their place. After all it's been five years since..." Raven paused, obviously troubled. What had it been five years since? He knew that the answer was hidden away in his mind, just waiting for the trigger that would release the memory. "... since I started down my path." He left it at that, not really knowing how to continue the conversation. Plus, there was a new memory that he was positive he had forgotten. It was of a group of five warriors destroying monsters, who were trying to destroy the town Raven lived in and outnumbered the warriors thirty to one. Yet afterward, the warriors didn't even seemed tired. Raven tried to remember more, but his efforts seemed to be in vain. |

| "Very well then," I let out a slight chuckle. "Try not to remember the past to much... it can be painful," I said before I lept back on the roof. "I wish to see you again someday, hopefully I'll get a chance to see your fighting ability, Farewell." I said before dashing off. | |

| Raven nodded at the retreating figure. He relaxed slightly now that Vergil had left the area. Though he wasn't tense due to Vergil's earlier actions; instead he felt as if Vergil himself wasn't quite human. He couldn't explain the feeling anymore than he could explain his amnesia and few rediscovered memories. "I'm afraid that one day you just might." Raven muttered, staring off in the direction Vergil had gone in. Luck wouldn't be on his side, but now that Raven sensed that Vergil wasn't as human as he might lead people to believe, his training and instinct demanded that man's head, or Raven's. Up ahead of him was a crowd of people gathered around two men, both of whom were armed. |
