Seeking Power

I walked across the plains and was surrounded by zombies. "Fools." I said as I pulled out Oni and Force-Edge and cut them all away. "hmph. not even a challange." I said then looked up on the hill and saw Axis. "so...she's here too." I said then sheathed oni and placed Force Edge back on my back.

"hello Axis." I said smirking. "how was your search?" I asked her, "you know that there are many things here that could cause some damage in a place like this. it almost reminds me of home." I said with a chuckle.

"well well... seems someone's getting fiesty." I said as I let the smirk drain from my face. "I heard there was a amulet here that has the power to control an army of immortals. I came here to claim that power" I said as I peered out at the land. "But all I've found are annoying heartless, zombies, and several rocks." I said obviously annoyed.

"I shall become the most powerful demon to ever exist and I'll take my rightful place as ruler of demon realm..." I said as I tightend my fist. "but my foolish brother stops me at every turn." I said shaking my head.

"he only won because I succumbed to my brotherly concern for him." I said angrily. "Besides... how did you hear about that?" I asked her.

"Word spreads fast around the dark realm my friend, especially when you have friends traveling distant worlds...."

Axis' smirk grew as she walked off abit. SHe looked back over her should over at virgil....Besides who couldnt forget about the problems between the two selfish and selfconcerned sons of Sparda" She walked away laughing quietly to herself.

"Selfconcerned? Selfish? I'll show her..." I said as I stared out over the burning lands trying not to let my anger consume me and killing Axis. "She is lucky that she is a women..." I said calming down.

Enraged I rushed through the portal after Axis before it closed, put her in a headlock and held Oni up to her throat within a blink of an eye. "I could have killed you at any time. but I don't hurt women. It's dishonorable." I said as I sheathed Oni.

"You are a strange girl." I said as I released her. "But I can't be the one to talk." I said as I looked about the area that I idiotically ran into.

"foolish woman... I'm no child..."I said to myself angrily as I turned and found my way out of the corridor.

"That is very true Axis." I say to her from atop a gargoyle that lined the spiraling corridor. "I don't really have to ask, but what is your business here?" I ask her as I jump off the stone figure with Death Reaper resting on my shoulder. " you might want to be careful because they just got a new type of guard here, and I will tell you now that they are not very friendly." Then I continue up the corridor cautiously. then I stop and motion for Axis to stop as I here footsteps ahead of us. "Wait here I will be right back." I slowly move up the corridor hugging the edge that way the guards did not see me. Then i hear on of them motion to go down the corridor that I was going up and so I charge up and surprise the guards and slash one of them in half, but the other parries my sword and slashes my sleeve. "I can't believe that you just wrecked my coat." I launch a Crimson slash from the blade of my sword knocking his sword out of him hand. " Do you yield because if I have to, I will Kill you." Then at that moment I hear the alarm sound and see hundreds of guards move down the corridor in my direction. "Damnit they were expecting me." I move up the corridor and continue cutting through the guards. Then i stop for a second and wipe the blood from my face. " Well this is interesting." I say to the rest as I launch a Crimson Strike annihilating the rest of them. "Okay Axis it's clear."

I began to walk down the corridor. "it's that silver haired guy that continues to stop me." I said as I began to walk towards Dante. 'but there's something different about him.' ithought. I saw the girl standing back. "hello young lady." I chuckled as I pulled Masamune from it's sheath. "What are you doing here all alone?" I began to laugh.

"So... you know who I am little girl?" I asked her as I pulled the tip of Masamune up to her throat. "I guess this means I'll have to kill you." I began to laugh.
